I wrote "Skydiving" July 12th 2020, the day after my birthday. After isolating, I was so grateful to be on the water and celebrate safely with a few friends, but the next day after everyone left, all the feels of the loss and unknowns and chaos of this pandemic hit me hard. I felt a real sense of emptiness and I literally had to sit down at the piano to get through the moment. It's reflective of how lost I felt during this time. If you've felt the ups and downs of this time of this time too, I hope we can connect with each other through this song.
